This Thursday, May 27th is our Spring Game against Vanguard at Booster Stadium in Ocala at 7:30 pm. The tickets are available online at GoFan. Here is the link to purchase your tickets https://gofan.co/app/events/296684?schoolId=FL17046
We are not sure if there will be a limit on tickets so I would purchase your tickets right away.

The game is not played at Vanguard High School but at Booster Stadium 3050 NE 36th Ave, Ocala, FL 34479. Incoming Freshman are not required to come but are welcomed to come join the fans and parents and cheer on our team.

Wednesday will conclude the Spring practice/Evaluations for our incoming Freshman. They will return for summer workouts starting June 8th at 4pm and they will have practice Tuesday-Thursday from 4-5pm.

This Thursday we will have pregame for the Varsity and returning players. If you are able to help serve on Thurday from 3:00pm-4:00pm in the cafeteria please let me know. We need 3 parents to help.

Good Afternoon Bobcats

Tomorrow night is our annual Black & Gold Scrimmage game at 6:30 on the top Buchholz Field. This game will be played by the returning players, incoming Freshman will not play but the coaches would like for them to be there for the game. During half time Coach Whittemore will be presenting awards to some of our previous players from last season. Coach also asked me to let parents know that he encourages you to bring chairs and sit anywhere around the track but wants no parents on the sidelines during the game. We will be charging at the gate $5 for parents but players, students and children are free. We will have conessions and snowcones available for sale and we actually need some help in concessions if you are available to help. Please sign up at the link below:

Freshman practice tonight has been cancelled because Buchholz is having their annual Cat Prowl in the parking lot this evening and we would have no access to the field. Next week they will practice Monday through Wednesday and then will start back up on June 8th from 4:00-5:00. I will be adding new dates to the calender for June and July in the next few days.

Exciting upcoming week for Buchholz football. Starting on Monday, May 17th our incoming Freshman players will have their first practice/evaluation at Buchholz. If you have not turned in your players forms yet please bring them to the first practice as they will not be able to practice without them. If you still need the forms click on the documents tab above and scroll down to player forms and you can save and print them from there. Also, if you have not paid your fees you can pay online here under the player fees tab or bring a check on Monday.

Then on Friday, May 21st we will have our annual Black and Gold Scrimmage at 6:30 on the top field at Buchholz. During halftime Coach Whittemore will be presenting awards to some of the players from this past season. This game is a fundraiser for the team and we hope to see you all out there .

Tomorrow, April 26th all returning players will begin Spring practice immediately after school. The schedule is now posted on the calendar. Incoming freshman will begin their practice/evalualtions on May 17th and the following week of May 24th. If you have not paid your players fairshare you still have to the end of the month to receive the discount of $300 (a $50 savings) Starting May 1st the fees will be $250 fair share and $100 for summer workouts. You can send in a check with your player to give to Coach Mashburn/Coach Kade or you can pay online on the website https://www.flipcause.com/secure/cause_pdetails/ODcyMjU=#!
