Good Morning Bobcats,

Last week JV fought hard against Bartram Trail and came up just short in the final minute of the game. The Varsity team also had a battle in Live Oak but came home with the win over the Suwannee Bulldogs.

This week JV will take on Santa Fe on Tuesday, Oct 6th at 6:30 pm in Alachua at Santa Fe High School. Here is the link to purchase tickets:

The Varsity team will take on cross-town rival GHS on Friday night at 7 pm at Citizens Field. We are the home team. Here is the link to purchase tickets:

Please remember each player is allowed 4 tickets each for the game. If you need additional tickets you can buy as many as you want on Thursday and Friday once it is made public.

Also, please be on the lookout for information about our “Score For the Cure” campaign raising money and honoring those affected by breast cancer during the month of October. I will be sending more information as to how you can get involved and help the team raise money all month long.

Besides tomorrow nights home JV game we have 2 additional AWAY games scheduled. One on October 6th against Santa Fe in Alachua and the second game on October 15th against Union County in Lake Butler. Both are scheduled for a 6:30 pm start time but please be aware that times may change.

A few updates for this week:

The JV game against Bartram Trail has moved up with a new start time of 6pm. Because of travel accommodations they decided to start the game 30 minutes earlier. Again the tickets are available for purchase on the GoFan app.

The tickets for the Varsity game in Live Oak against the Suwannee Bulldogs will not be sold through GoFan. They are selling tickets at the gate the night of the game and there are no capacity restrictions.

Congratulations to our Varsity team with their shut out win against Eastside with a score of 54-0. Please keep two of our players in your prayers, Jack Hevesy, that had to leave the game after our first offensive series with a dislocated elbow and John McDonough with an ankle sprain. This weeks game is against Suwannee Bulldogs in Live Oak. They have not yet posted the tickets for sale and hopefully we will have the link later today.
