Just a small update to last night’s Booster meeting and some questions that have been brought to the Booster’s attention.

The calendar has been updated to show the Spring Parent Meeting, Spring Practice Times, Summer Work Out times, and Varsity Team Camp. Please go to the team pages to view the calendar. The URL is: http://buchholzfootball.teampages.com/

Parent Night will be April 7, 2020 at 7:00p
Spring Practice (All Returning Players) begins April 27, 2020 at 330p (please check calendar)
Spring Classic: 5/21/2020 at Suwannee High School
Incoming 8th Graders: May 4, 2020 at 6:00p (These players will practice for 2 weeks)
Summer Work Outs Begin: June 1, 2020
Varsity Team Camp July 7-9, 2020
Season Starts: July 27, 2020
Off Weeks during the summer are June 26th to July 5th and July 20th to 24th

On a final note, all that know me, know that I graduated from BHS in 1984. I returned with my boys and I have been a part of the BHS Family for the past 8 years. My son has decided to forego his senior year of football to concentrate on his wrestling skills. My wife and I fully support his decision and thus last night at the Booster Meeting I resigned from my position of VP of the Booster Club. I cannot thank the Coaches, Parents and other Booster members enough for their support during my time at BHS. I am sure that BHS will continue their greatness and culture into the future, but it is now time for someone to come up and take over my position to assist the kids and continue to promote this program. Should circumstances change, I would be happy to assist.

A final thanks you to Coach Whittemore. Coach, you have been a great coach and mentor to not only my boys, but the entire team. I am grateful for the friendship we developed over the years. My prayer is for your continued success.

Normally we have our monthly booster meeting on the first Monday of the month. Coach Whittemore will be out of town this Monday so we will be meeting next Monday. March 9th. Please join us as we prepare for Spring and Summer.

UPDATE: PLEASE MAKE SURE TO ORDER YOUR BANQUET TICKETS BY MONDAY, JAN 27TH. WE MUST GIVE FINAL NUMBERS FOR FOOD. ALSO PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR PLAYER REGISTERS FOR THEIR FREE TICKET ONLINE AS WELL.

We will be having our football banquet on Jan 30th, 2020 at 6pm at Westside Baptist Church. Both Varsity and JV will be together for one banquet. Players and coaches will be paid for by the Booster Club. Good Morning Bobcat Parents,

This is a reminder for tonight’s meeting. This is a mandatory parent meeting tonight at 6pm in the cafeteria as we are prepare for our banquet, volunteer opportunities and the upcoming season. We realize that tonight is the National Championship game but we promise to get you out in time to watch. We look forward to seeing you.
