Good Evening Parents,

This Friday, Varsity will be taking on Fletcher High School in our next district game at 7:30 pm Citizen’s Field. The fan support is so important and we need our loud cheering fans in the stands. We are in desperate need for volunteers this week. We definitely need more help setting up concessions at 4:30. Last week we only had one parent to handle the setup and that is way too much for one parent to do. Sean and I will be there early on Friday at 11:30 am to pull everything out and start the setup but the remaining setup needs a work force to complete.

We have had a core group of parents that have jumped in and volunteered for multiple games and opportunities but we need more parent help. The remaining Fair Share is coming due soon so if you have not volunteered during the season you will be required to pay the additional $150. If you would like to offset that cost you can do so by volunteering. There are still quite a few opportunities available and we will also be needing Banquet committees for both the JV and the Varsity banquets. Below are the links to sign up to volunteer:

Good Monday Bobcats

First, the JV Players ended their season last Thursday. They came up a little short against GHS, but they played hard. The future is bright for these young players. Any players being asked to come up to the Varsity Team will be notified. Others that are not invited will turn in their equipment to staff this week.

A big congrats to the Varsity Team for outlasting city rival GHS last Friday and coming home with the City Championship. BHS is not 28-20 over GHS in city games and this is our second consecutive City Championship.

The Bobcats will host district foe Fletcher this coming Friday at Citizens Field. (THIS IS HOMECOMING WEEK) Game time is 7:30p Please come out and support the team as we now move deep into our district schedule. There will be three straight weeks of district games.

Tonight we have a booster meeting in Coach Whittemore’s classroom at 7:00p Please come out and be involved in the processes of the booster club. You do not have to be a booster member to attend these meetings. The meetings are open to all parents.

Thanks
GO BOBCATS
Sean

Bobcat parents, students, friends and fans….Join us for a tailgate at Citizen’s Field starting at 4pm and then we will be doing our own “Bobcat Walk” at 5:45 for the players as they arrive to take on GHS tonight! Come out and support our Bobcats!

Parents and spectators:

Please note that the game tomorrow evening against GHS is at Buchholz, the gate and game is actually a home game for GHS. (GHS football field is currently being re-sodded) GHS will be implementing the SBAC’s clear bag policy tomorrow at the JV Game. They will be providing ticket takers and security and will not let anybody in with a regular bag

Please note the clear bag policy. The teams will be on the normal sideline

Thanks, and GO CATS!
