Week 2 completed On to Week 3 (Hopefully)
Couple of tough losses this past week to Vanguard at the JV and Varsity Level. We move on to Week 3. Many thanks to all the volunteers that assisted last week for JV pre-game, and the varsity game activities.
There is no Booster Meeting tonight due to the Labor Day Holiday. Our next Booster meeting will be next Monday, 9/9/2019 at 7:00p. Please make plans to attend the meeting.
Important message to parents, students and spectators. No one is allowed to on the field of play during a game. During JV games, all parents and spectators need to stay in the bleachers or on the track. If you have a question or concern with a coach, please make arrangements with that coach for a personal meeting during non-practice times or non-game times. Everyone abiding by these guidelines would be greatly appreciated.
This week’s games. Obviously, there is a little storm called Dorian lingering off the Florida Coast. The storm could cause changes in the games for this each. Once we are aware of any changes, we will let you know.
JV is currently slated to take on GHS at Buchholz this coming Thursday at 6:00p
Varsity travels to Ponte Vedra High School for a kick off that starts at 7:00p

Great Opening Week

JV came up a little short in overtime against Eastside this past Thursday, but they played hard. Way to go JV!. This week, JV will take on take on Vanguard Thursday at BHS beginning at 6:30p. This is JV’s opening game at home. Please come out and support the team.
Varsity had an exciting win against Eastside Friday night. What a great way to start the season. This week varsity will take on Vanguard Friday at Citizens Field beginning at 7:30p

Some parents missed out on the purchase of the program this past Friday. If you are interested in obtaining a copy, please contact our program chair, Elizabeth Schuppie at: eschuppie@gmail.com or via text at 352-494-7336 We normally do not do this, but we will make an exception for this past week as a lot of programs were purchased due to BHS honoring Coach Godwin and Coach OJ at the game this past Friday. Additionally, if you have a senior, you may reach out to Ms. Schuppie the Tuesday before a home game to make sure that you order that week’s program.

IT'S GAME WEEK....BUCHHOLZ V EASTSIDE AND WE STILL NEED VOLUNTEERS
Hi Parents,
Bobcat Football officially begins this week with our first season games. JV will take on Eastside at Eastside on Thursday at 6pm. Varsity will take on Eastside on Friday, 7:30pm at Citizens Field. We are selling shirts for this Varsity game. You can buy a shirt and ticket for only $10 and they will be on sale in front of the Cafeteria on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday during A and B lunch.
We are still in need of volunteers in all areas…..shirt sales, pre-game for both JV and Varsity and the Varsity game. Please see signups below. We can not make this a successful season without your help!
