This Monday, September 5th both Varsity and JV will have practice. Varsity practice starts at 3 and JV starts at 3:30

Good evening Parents,

Well tonight did not go as planned and unfortunately because of dangerous weather conditions they were forced to cancel the game at Madison.

The coaches have decided that tomorrow at 5 pm the Freshman will take on the Sophomores in a scrimmage on the top field. So please come out and cheer your players on.

The coaches have also requested that no one parks next to the sidewalk in the top loop by the school. They are having a difficult time getting the players off the buses after the games and need to unload all the equipment onto the sidewalk. With all of the parents parked there they are unable to quickly unload. Please either park in the top parking spots or down in the school parking lot. This request is for both Varsity and JV games.

This email will have tons of information so please read through. We are in full swing of our Bobcat football season and are in need of urgent help from our parents. Since our Covid year and the following years since it has become increasingly difficult to get food sponsors. We are hoping that some of you may have a connection to help us get our pre-game meals as this is a huge expense out of pocket without getting meals donated. We will promote the restaurant on our website and social medias as well as announcing them at our home games. We can also hang a banner at Citizens if they have one, or get one made (3 × 5) for $150. The Buchholz Football Boosters is a 501c3 nonprofit organization and we will provide a donation receipt upon request. If you are able to help please let us know as soon as possible.

Another area of need is during our Varsity games and pregame meals for both teams. We need your help in order for this program to be a success. If everyone can just help out at least once it will lessen the load for the same group of parents that continuously sign up and help out. We have over 115 players between the two teams and there are maybe 20 parents that do the majority of the work. Please check the sign up genius and sign up:

This week JV will be heading to Madison tomorrow, Wednesday at 7pm to take on Madison High School. Pre game meal will be on the road and the players will be eating at Sonny’s in Lake City. We do not have a link for tickets. You will pay at the gate.

Good Afternoon Bobcats!

JV came up a little short last night against Union but it was great preparation for next week’s game against Madison. For those of you who signed up to help with pre-game next week for JV, we will no longer be doing pre-game at school. Instead players will be having their pregame at Sonny’s in Lake City. You should have received a cancellation but just in case I wanted to let you know again here,
