Good Evening Bobcats,
Today was the start of Spring Ball for all returning players. Each weekday Mon through Friday they will practice from 3-5:30. Next Monday, May 2nd the incoming 8th graders will start their practice from 6-7:30 pm Monday through Thursday..
Next week the players will be collecting emails to submit for our annual GridIron Campaign, our biggest fundraiser of the year. Please look out for an informational flyer sometime this week regarding the fundraiser.
You still have time to get the early bird discount for your players fairshare and summer workouts. The cost is $300 for both through April 30th. On May 1st the price will increase to $350. Here is the link to pay online https://www.flipcause.com/secure/cause_pdetails/ODcyMjU=#!
Thursday, May 12th will be the annual Spring Black and Gold Scrimmage game at Buchholz from 6pm-8pm. I am trying to get a food truck to come out so food will be available for purchase. If you have any food truck contacts or know someone that would be interested in coming out please let me know.
We will wrap Spring Ball up on Thursday, May 19th with our Spring Game against Vanguard at Citizen’s Field at 7pm.

Please remember to join us tomorrow night for our annual parent meeting where Coach Whittemore will be discussing the spring practice, summer workouts and the fall season at 7pm in the Buchholz Cafeteria. We will have the opportunity for you to pay for your players fairshare and summer workouts at a discounted rate and we will also have 3 brand new Buchholz shirts for purchase as well as some past shirts at discounted price. Next Thursday, January 27th we will be having our annual Football Banquet at Westside Baptist Church at 6:30 pm. The cost for the banquet is $20 for parents and siblings/family over 10 and $15 for siblings/family 10 and under. All players will be paid by the boosters. We have been trying to set up payment online and are having issues so please check back later today or at the latest Monday. If you will be planning on paying at the door please respond to this post with number of guests coming (other than your player as they are already accounted for) so we can plan accordingly with the food. We look forward to celebrating this amazing season with our players!
