Good Morning Bobcats!

Summer workouts are going great and we are getting closer to our fall season. With that being said we need to get our advertisers/sponsors and raise money through our Gridiron campaign. We are going to be having a booster meeting next Tuesday, July 20th at 7pm in Coach Whittemore’s classroom. We will be discussing adjustments to our budget, fundraising for the season, getting sponsors for our meals and advertisers for our program. We have also had some parents asking what the fairshare is for and coming to this meeting will further explain. Our fairshare helps to support our teams in many ways. Our program requires about $75,000-$85,000 a year to support and all of that must be raised by our booster club. If we receive 100% fairshare paid by each player that would only cover less than 1/3 of the expenses for the team each year.

Talking about fundraising we are getting ready to put a video together for our Gridiron campaign, which is like a Go Fund me link for family and friends to donate and support our team. We are hoping someone on the team has some editing/video creating skills that can assist the team in creating our video. The video will include game footage, practice/weightlifting footage, interviews from Coach and some of the players. If you are able to help us please let us know right away as we would like to get this out to our supporters and start raising those funds for the team.

If you have not yet paid your fairshare, please take care of that as soon as possible. You can either send in a check or pay online under player fees.

The coaches are setting up a team summer surprise for the varsity team. We are needing 3 parents to meet Pete McDonough at the bottom field behind the school from 9:30-noon on Tuesday, July 13th to help set up the surprise. Please let us know if you are able to help.

Please remember that next week July 5th- July 9th they have off from summer workouts. They will resume on July 12th.

Good afternoon parents

JV will only be lifting weights tonight from 7:30-8:30. The will not need to bring cleats as they will not be doing any field work. So tonight is going to just be a one hour workout in the weight room.

I was just notified Coach Cummings, our strength coach, cannot start workouts until 7:30. So workouts tonight will be from 7:30-8:30.
