Unfortunately I did not get enough interest in the parent bus. There were only 10 parents that said that would like to ride the bus. I did call the bus company today and they are actually sold out for that Friday now. The price actually increased significantly because they didn’t realize they would be back after midnight so the price would’ve been even higher per person.

Also, to keep the boys safe, Principal Tenbeig decided to spread the players out over 3 buses so they can properly distance themselves. As you may have heard previously, if we have even 1 player test positive for Covid-19 the season immediately comes to an end and we definitely don’t want that. So please make sure your player does all the safety precautions and not surround themselves around too many people during this playoff run.

Congratulations to our Varsity boys on an amazing win last night against Creekside!!! We are now onto the next round of the playoffs. This week we will be making the long trip to play Navarre at their home field. The players will be leaving school early on Friday around noon. Many parents have inquired about the possibility of a parent bus to the game. I am in the process of getting information and wanted to know if we had enough interest. The trip is about 4 1/2 hours, so our typical bus rate is almost double ($2200) There are 56 possible seats so that would be $40 per person for the round trip to Navarre and back to Gainesville. If we are not able to fill the bus the price would be higher. Please let me know this weekend if you would want to take the parent bus to Navarre.
